My go-to Taco spot!!! They use Mesquite Charcoal, and make their own tortillas. A little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it, especially on Tuesdays where the price drops for Al Pastor or Pollo.

This is my goto spot when I'm in the los angeles area. They always have fresh meat cooking which is always a plus. The guacamole on the taco gives it that taste! The only thing they are missing are grilled onions & grilled green onions ! Maybe some more salsa that are spicy would hit the spot ! Always has a line but I don't mind .

# 65 Review for 2024***** 5 Stars***** *** Authentic Tijuana Flavors - A Taco Paradise!*** If there's one spot that captures the essence of Tijuana tacos, it's Tacos Cabron. From the moment I stepped up to the stand, I knew I was in for a treat. The Al Pastor, cooked over charcoal and trabone, had this sweet, delectable taste that's simply unparalleled. Each bite of the Carne Asada tacos was a burst of smoky, perfectly seasoned goodness. But the delights didn't stop there-- their Quesadilla, Memelas, and Mulitas were a fiesta for the taste buds. Tacos Cabron doesn't just serve food; they craft an experience reminiscent of authentic Tijuana street tacos. As a seasoned taco inspector with #65 reviews for 2024, I can confidently say: this place has my seal of approval. Can't wait to make it #66 Tip: try their ribs OMG!

The good: I checked out this stand at El Gato street market and enjoyed my fresh and authentic Mexican food experience. This is the first LA street taco experience I've had (though I've been to one in Wilmington, if that counts). The cilantro and onions were fresh. I liked the chunky side cucumber accompaniment. It was $12 for 2 tacos al pastor and vampiro with carne asada. Vampiro is something I only recently discovered after moving to SoCal and I love it! It's like a crunchy tortilla with meat and cheese inside but the tortilla lays flat rather than folded like a crunchy taco. It was definitely one of the more enticing stands in the market because of their al pastor meat display. The bad: There was some confusion on the price. I heard 3 different prices before it was confirmed that I owed $12. The interesting: The night market runs Thursday and Friday 5pm-12am and also Saturday and Sunday 3pm-11:30pm. There is only street parking. They have a portable potty but it costs $2 to use.
